Dr. Jeylani Dublin  joined NSMI as a physical therapist in September 2018. He specializes in corrective exercise, performance enhancement and treating sports/general orthopedic related injuries.

Dr. Jeylani received his Bachelor’s of Science in Biology at Longwood University (Farmville, Virginia) where he competed on the Division 1 Men’s Basketball Team for 4 consecutive years in the Big South Conference. Following his undergraduate journey as a student athlete, he went on to compete at Iona College (New Rochelle, New York) as a graduate student majoring in Masters of Experimental Psychology. He helped Iona advance to the NIT 2015 as the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Season Champions during his time as a 5th year graduate student athlete.

Following his collegiate athletic career, Jeylani decided to pursue his Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy at Shenandoah University (Lansdowne, Virginia). Dr. Jeylani has also completed the Orthopedic Clinical Specialization (OCS) in an effort to expand his clinical knowledge base.

He was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He has lived in VA since 2010. When he is not treating as a PT, he enjoys listening to a wide variety of music/TED Talks, watching HGTV, weight training, adding to his trucker hat collection and helping others in every facet of life (sports, health and general advice). Dr. Jeylani resides with his girlfriend, Shelby, who is a physical therapist in Winchester, VA.
