Doctor of Physical Therapy and Director of Rehabilitation – Lansdowne


Dr. Jeffrey Farnsworth DPT is the Director of Rehabilitation at the National Sports Medicine Institute. He started as a physical therapist at NSMI in 2015. He specializes in treating sports and orthopedic related injuries, including non-surgical, pre-surgical and post-surgical. He graduated from BYU with his Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science and then attended the George Washington University in Washington, D.C and graduated with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.

He has taken many continuing education courses designed to treat athletes of all ages including manual therapy, dry needling and sports and conditioning courses. He is a certified Emergency Medical Responder and he enjoys volunteering as a medical provider for many local athletic and community events.

Growing up, he loved playing baseball and football and currently lives in Sterling, VA with his wife and daughter.
